BlackHawk Inlet FIlter Mat approved for inclusion on PennDOT Bulletin 15

The BlackHawk Inlet Filter Mat has just been granted inclusion on PennDOT Bulletin 15 for inlet protection. This inclusion allows contractors working on PennDOT projects to immediately start using the BlackHawk Inlet Filter Mat on DOT projects in the State.

BlackHawk is approved for use on Type M, C and S inlets. This covers the typical inlets found in the state.

BlackHawk in it’s current form and configuration for PA flows about 1200 gpm and has a sediment removal rate around 86%. This helps keep water from forming in the street keeping it safe and sediment from entering the inlet.
